Get away from the cold... to Sunny San Diego!
Well I would never have believed it if I didn't witness it with my own eyes... a snow storm on the first day of spring?! If there is something you cannot count on in Oklahoma it is the weather, one day it is beautiful blue skies with a high of 70 and the next day we are all ankle deep in fresh powder!!
With crazy weather in mind, I want to send a little wedding advice. To all you "do-it-yourselfers", planning your special day without the aid of a quality professional coordinator, if there is one piece I could give you (other than hire an amazing photographer) is be prepared for anything and everything!! Prepare an emergency kit with stain-removing pens, scissors, needle and thread, superglue, etc. Also if you are planning an outdoor event... be sure to have a plan B, whether it is an alternate venue or a rented party tent, you can never be TOO prepared
